Octo Force Management Co., Ltd. hereby announces that, as of November 11, 2025, it has sold all outstanding shares of Genten Inc. (headquartered in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; hereinafter “Genten”) to BENNERS, Inc. (headquartered in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Takeshi Iguchi; hereinafter “Benners”).
Genten is a company with over 30 years of proven experience in the seafood processing industry, established well before Octo Force Management’s involvement. It offers a wide range of processing capabilities, from artisan fresh fish preparation to OEM services. Leveraging a diverse procurement network centered on markets and wholesalers throughout Kyushu, along with advanced skills in sashimi and sushi ingredient processing, Genten has supplied products to mass retailers, department stores, and foodservice companies nationwide.
Furthermore, Genten has implemented a HACCP-compliant hygiene management system, maintaining production lines that ensure both safety and quality—an important distinguishing feature. Through this share transfer, Genten will be able to further enhance the integrated quality and safety of processing, freezing, and distribution for BENNERS’ D2C brand “Fishlle!” as well as its foodservice operations “Don to Temaki Genkai” and “Genkaidon.” Building on its solid business foundation, we are confident that Genten will achieve new growth opportunities going forward.
